The Entire Town
The fungal creatures' backs begin to shift, overlapping chitin plates open up as a pair of wings burst from their backs. They fly out into the perpetual daylight. The group can’t make it up in time, they are unable
The group explores the silo. Amyl finds a motion detection camera near the stairs and nicks it for faerself. Caulder begins to dismantle the computer and salvages 4 CPUs, 4 GPUs, and 20 hard drives. Exploring some more Caulder goes down to the pellet pit and notices the creature Drashed had knocked in was slowly bleeding out. They tried to communicate but it was a cold nothing in response, just dead round circular eyes. Caulder put a dagger through it’s head in an act of mercy.
Back in town they deliver the good news to Toos, the old man that goaded them into destroying the facility. He was to send word of the reclamation of Baalmarath to the diaspora in Ux Qorath and the new barons departed.
Soon they found themselves in the village of Tov-Pylos. A man in bright blue robes brandishing a laser rifle greets them.
“You don’t plan on being any trouble do you?”
“No trouble at all” Caulder responds automatically.
“Heard of any trouble?” Drash asks in return
“No trouble what so ever, Tov-Pylos is a peaceful town and I plan on keeping it that way” the man brandishing the gun says.
Amyl has faer suspicions, using faer third eye they inspect the man. A in the ultraviolet shades her begins to glow, malice radiating off of him. “We won’t be any trouble, just want to pass by town for the night, maybe get a drink”
“Well head down to the drunken pony, tell Dratha that T’sia sent you”
“Will do”
Amyl ushers off the rest of the new barons, telling of the evil radiation off of T’sia that fae can see via their third eye. However something stops them in their tracks, every single person in this town is glowing with the same ultraviolet malevolence as T’sia. Every single one. Even Dratha in the drunken pony.
Finding every excuse they can to leave the drunken pony the group soon carries on, tired as can be to the next town down the road, to the village of Eld’yedith.
They are greeted with quarrelsome mutants who will not let them know peace, but soon find themselves in an in, bellies full of giant lagomorph sausage and beer perpetual stew and beans.
It was a long day.
