Chlorine Gas — Poison Relay 04
I was brought here by mightier than a sword!
The Victim: Sir Jonathan Griswell, Esq.
A lawyer and knight of the Space British Empire, Griswell spends most of his time exploring the far reaches of space in his personal pleasure yacht/spaceship. Condescending and rude, he has made more enemies than friends amongst the bon ton of the Empire, and the fact that he’s so good at finding loopholes in people’s legal attacks on him only makes the whole thing worse. Many people would be much happier with him dead, especially given the large fortune he has willed to “whomever has the bollocks to actually kill me”.
However, he is well protected by a coterie of psychic bodyguards who predict any attack before it happens, as well as a corps of elite food-tasters. He often hosts large parties to flaunt his magnificent wealth, dancing and drinking freely in absolute confidence of his safeguards.
The Poison: Chlorine Gas
The plan is simple: take them all out at once. If the safeguards die at the same time as the target how can they help?
Get access to a standard food delivery pod, and pressurize it with an absurd amount of chlorine gas. Gas attacks are rare and borderline unheard of due to the ease of venting gas into space. If one was to find a moment where most of the airlocks were open from the industrial underside of a ship, and to the more residential (and less air locked) upper decks there would be very little that could be done. Very few ships have any filtration system equipped to actually handle chlorine gas in a reasonable timeframe.
During his big parties the air locks are not locked in, too many people coming and going from the cargo bay wish fresh food into the kitchens for it to be practical.
All you need is someone willing to go on a suicide mission.
If you want something more whimsical imagine this is Moff Grizwell, and instead of chlorine it’s rhydonium.
The New Victim: The Knight
The city of Vandham is protected from an enigmatic figure known simply as The Knight. When the sun goes down he descends from high above in cape and cowl, protecting the everyday people from what lurks in the shadows. No one knows where he disappears to during the day, but if you are to take over the city for yourself you need a way to take him, and his never ending supply of gadgets out.
